Small or large hospitals: The HICS System is NIMS compliant and incorporates the Job Action Sheet checklists, Incident Response Guides and Forms developed by the California EMSA for HICS IV. HICS System can be customized for a small or large Hospital Emergency Command Center. Primary System: HICS System is a manual system that can serve as the primary means for Situation Awareness and coordinating operations support. Back-Up System: The HICS System can also play an important redundant role as a manual backup system to a computer-based or Internet-based HICS information system. |
