EOC Tornado exercise simulates up to 90 realistic voice messages to an Emergency Operations Center resulting from a damaging tornado. The initial scenario starts with an activated EOC during a tornado Watch. A tornado is reported approaching the target jurisdiction, and then it hits. Casualties and damage are reported by various operations centers including response agencies, hospitals, news media, utilities and state and local officials. As reports come in, the scope of the emergency is revealed. A critical incident develops when a building collapses.
