EOC Earthquake Exercise

EOC Earthquake exercise simulates up to 90 realistic voice messages to an Emergency Operations Center resulting from an earthquake. Scenario data is based on the 1994 Northridge, California, earthquake. The initial scenario begins with an activated EOC. Casualties and damage are reported by various operations centers including response agencies, hospitals, news media, utilities and state and local officials. As reports come in, the scope of the emergency is revealed. A critical incident develops when a major building collapses.

Customizable Exercise Features: Number of casualties, critical incident information, earthquake intensity Richter Magnitude 5.0 to 9.0, quality of local construction, names of local and supporting agencies, names of damaged areas, roads closed, mass care feeding stations and more.
