EOC Chemical Terrorism exercise
begins with policy level discussion of a terrorist threat. The questions is, "What can we or should we do about it?" A credible threat develops and reports indicate that an attack is imminent on an unknown location. Up to 90 realistic voice messages begin to arrive. An incident is reported that indicates a chemical attack. Casualties are reported by various response agencies operations centers, incident commander, hospitals, news media, utilities and state and local officials. As reports come in, the scope of the emergency is revealed.
Customizable Exercise Features: Number of casualties, chemical attack scene, areas to be evacuated, roads closed, names of local agencies, shelters open and more.
