1. [ ] Coordinate aerial and waterborne search and rescue with Direction & Control Coordinator once flooding occurs. (As a planning guide, see Survey Planning Table in Annex A, Tab S, Aerial & Ground Survey Planning, )

2. [ ] Include provisions for the rescue of stranded animals and the disposal of dead ones. Ask the Reception & Mass Care Coordinator which animal care facilities are open (Annex K, Tab H, Animal Housing Facilities: Pets, Agricultural Animals).

3. [ ] Relocate resources and equipment (in the affected area) needed for emergency operations to prevent damage or loss (consult Evacuation Coordinator).
